My reminders aren't showing

Open Settings, then Water Reminders. If notifications are blocked for Sipra in Android, a banner there has a button that takes you straight to the right system screen. Also check that your start and end times cover the current time, that you haven't paused reminders for today, and that you haven't already reached your goal, because reminders stop for the day once you do.

Some phones close apps in the background to save battery, which can delay or drop reminders. Allowing Sipra to run in the background in your battery settings helps. Sipra uses Android's battery-friendly alarms, so a reminder can arrive a little late.

How do I change my goal or cup size?

Open Settings, then Daily Goal or Default Drink. The change shows on the home screen straight away. The Add button on the home screen always uses your current cup size.

I changed phones and my history is gone

Sipra keeps its data on the device and has no server to restore it from. If Android's Google backup was on for your old phone, it may bring the data back when you set up the new one, but that isn't guaranteed. If it doesn't, the new install starts from zero.

How do I add the widget, and why are the numbers old?

Open Settings, choose Home Screen Widget and tap Add to home screen. If your phone doesn't offer that, press and hold an empty spot on your home screen, tap Widgets and drag Sipra where you want it. Some phones ask you to allow adding shortcuts first.

The widget refreshes whenever you log a drink and once just after midnight. If it ever looks stuck, remove it and add it again, and check that your phone isn't blocking Sipra in the background.

Can I turn off Sipi's chat?

Yes. Open Settings and switch off Mascot messages. The speech bubbles on Home, History, Stats and Settings go away, and the reminders and the face in the progress ring stay.

How do I delete my data?

Open Settings, choose Delete Account and confirm. Your username, goal, cup size, reminder settings and every logged drink are erased from the phone immediately. There's no online account, so there's nothing to cancel elsewhere. The privacy policy has the details.
