Most problems are one of the four below. If yours isn't, email sageofblademw@gmail.com. It goes straight to the developer.
My steps look too low
Traka reads your phone's step sensor. With "Count steps all day" on in Settings, it takes a quiet reading every half hour or so, and whenever you open the app, with no notification. With it off, Home only updates while the app is open. Steps taken in a session are counted live.
Also check that motion access is allowed (Settings, then Permissions) and that battery optimization isn't stopping the app. After a restart, Android resets the step sensor, so the count can look low for a few minutes. Traka corrects for this on its own.
The heart-rate reading failed
Cover both the camera lens and the flash fully with a fingertip and hold still for the whole 15 seconds. Pressing too hard cuts off blood flow and spoils the reading, and bright light around you can interfere, so try again somewhere dimmer. The result is an estimate and isn't a medical measurement.
I changed phones and my history is gone
Traka keeps its data on the device and opts out of Android's backup, so it can't be restored onto a new phone. There's nothing on a server to recover it from. The new install starts from zero.
How do I delete my data?
Go to Profile, tap the gear icon for Settings, choose Delete Account and type your username to confirm. Everything is erased from the phone immediately. There's no online account, so there's nothing to cancel elsewhere. The privacy policy has the details.
