01Acceptance
By installing or using Traka you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. They apply alongside the privacy policy, which explains what the app stores and how it's handled.
02License
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Traka on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, sublicense or redistribute the app, except where the platform you installed it from (Google Play) allows it.
03Not medical advice
Traka is a general wellness app, not a medical device. Step counts, distance, calories and camera-based heart-rate readings are estimates for personal information only. They aren't meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Talk to a qualified healthcare professional before making health decisions, and get emergency help in an emergency instead of relying on this app.
04Your responsibilities
- The details you enter (username, age range, goal) are yours to keep accurate, and so is the security of your phone, since that's where all the app's data lives.
- Keep an eye on your surroundings while a session is running. Don't let the app distract you while you walk, jog or run.
- Don't use the app in a way that could harm or disable it, or that interferes with anyone else's device.
05Ownership
The app, its design and its code belong to its developer. The steps, sessions, heart-rate readings and profile that you generate belong to you. They stay on your device, and the developer doesn't claim, sell or license them.
06No warranty
Traka is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes, without limitation, the accuracy of step counts, distance, calories or heart-rate readings, and fitness for a particular purpose. Readings from motion sensors and the camera always carry some error.
07Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages that arise from using, or being unable to use, the app. That includes relying on its step, distance, calorie or heart-rate figures. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be excluded where you live.
08Changes
If these terms change, the effective date above will change with them, and material changes will be noted in the app's release notes before they apply. Carrying on using Traka after a change means you accept the new terms.
